MBBS is the abbreviated form of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. The given Latin name is Medicinae Baccalaureus Baccalaureus Chirurgiae. It is a degree given to graduates who have finished their education in medicine and have aims of becoming a doctor. Though this is a single undergraduate program, the student receives two professional bachelor’s degrees (for medicine and surgery).
